Transatlanticism is still one of my all-time favorite albums. I discovered it on my own almost a whole summer before DCFC crept into the public zeitgeist via shows like Dawson’s Creek and the O.C. thanks to my religious reading of Magnet Magazine (and indie music publication). The music and lyrics speak to me and it transports me back to my senior year at the Eastman School of Music which was an interesting time in my life, personally.
